Introducing Cap-Nature Pierrefonds-Ouest. A new vision for eco-friendly family living, in perfect harmony with 180 hectares of protected natural habitat.

A unique eco-friendly residential neighbourhood, Cap-Nature Pierrefonds-Ouest will be situated on the western perimeter of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, near parc-nature Cap-St-Jacques.

In keeping with the latest trends in urban design, the new family-oriented community of 5,500 residential units will stand out for many reasons, especially its focus on sustainable development.

The project will cover 366 hectares and harmoniously integrate 180 hectares of protected woodlands, wetlands, and other ecosystems, 56 hectares of which have been donated to the City by landowners and developers. In all, the project will total more than 1,000 hectares – the largest protected natural habitat on the Island of Montreal.

  • The highest ratio of affordable family housing of any development in Quebec, appealing to a wide range of incomes and age-groups;
  • A community designed on a human scale, with an urban density that supports sustainable services and the protection of natural habitats;
  • Improved transportation options for Pierrefonds-Roxboro;
  • A revitalizing investment for both the borough and the City.
